definite FUNNY STORY!! My name is Max Bradey BUC USN RET (adoptee) and I worked at the shipyard in 1972 while attached to CBU 412. My paternal search even at my old age still goes on and centers around the Charleston Navy Shipyard because I was conceived in April, 1946 in a car parked at the ge dunk on base. I was born in Feb., 1947. My father (unknown) surname CAMPBELL, was employed at the shipyard in unknown code area for at least 3 years prior to my birth. White male, 150 #, 67" tall, brown hair and eyes, high school education, born in 1918 and from VIRGINIA. My mother, Ruth Frances Pruitt there for the war work then winding down with her family. My grandfather, EDWARD BRUCE PRUITT, also worked all the WW2 years in the shipyard in unknown code area although he was known as a carpenter in Anderson, S. C.. My YDNA seen in Family tree DNA public CAMPBELL surname project as test 234361 in Group 66 and as GEDMATCH T849581. Looking for leads to any CAMPBELL surname persons who worked at the shipyard in this WW2 era. 828-859-9227. bra3@windstream.net
